What is an eSIM?

An eSIM operates like a regular SIM card but without the plastic. It's a chip inside your phone that connects you to your mobile network.

Unlike a physical SIM card, an eSIM is already built into your phone—no insertion required!

How Does an eSIM work?

Activating an eSIM is easy. Instead of changing physical cards, you simply scan a code or input some details into your phone. This directs your phone on which network to connect to and assigns your phone number.

This is particularly convenient for frequent travelers because you can connect to local networks without the need for a new SIM card.
